Below are two, one minute videos of a Holiday Park. The top one is captured at 1080 APR (Apple Pro Res) Mov file and the file size is 1.12 gigabytes.

The bottom one is captured at 720 High res and is around 96 megabytes in size. There is not much difference until you play these files on screens of a different size. The top video will show more detail, than the lower one on a bigger screen. The top video may appear blurred on a mobile devise whereas the bottom one will appear perfect. 

Our quotations are based on finding a balance to obtain the best quality possible for a reasonable storage quota. 

We generally use a 4K resolution for video files in MP4 format, and a 12MP for photos.
